Brown cloth-bound scrapbook with gold lettering "ScrapBook," gold borders on front cover, and gold lines on spine, worn away with age. White inscriptions on cover and spine read "Touraine Northern Spain Holland and Wales 1901." Back cover features debossed lettering "PAT MARCH 1876." Contents include European travel ephemera with architectural postcards and photographs, hotel materials including North Western Hotel Llandudno menu, Grand Hotel Anvers ephemera, Thomas Cook & Son week-end tickets for Sherwood Forest and The Dukeries, Yeoman of the Guard photograph from London, blue-tinted postcards, and various travel-related scraps and clippings. Many pages feature a single pressed flower taped to the page and composed with the scraps and clippings. Exhibits wear typical of antique scrapbooks including loose or detached pages, weakened binding, separated scraps, and general age-related deterioration.
