This massive oil on canvas painting jumped out at me when I saw it - I could tell there was something unusual about it, and the Game of Thrones vibe I got proved to be more accurate than I initially thought. This lovely vintage painting was done after the famous 1631 original by Diego Velazquez entitled "Prince Balthasar Charles With a Dwarf" by artist Mona Kristoferson. If you thought the face of the person on the left looked a bit older, you'd be right, as it's a depiction of an unnamed court Dwarf of the palace. A fascinating study of a time gone by, and an expertly done copy professionally framed. It measures a whopping 26.5" x 38.5"
