Here is a charming cup and saucer marked with the symbols of the Masonic sect Order of the Eastern Star, which was established in 1850. The two pieces are eggshell in color and are decorated with gold pin-striping. The bottom of the saucer is marked Homer Laughlin, Eggshell, Made in U.S.A., along with the number D46N5. Both cup and saucer are in good condition with no apparent chips or cracks. There is some general wear from use, including some very minor gold paint loss.
