This pair of antique cast iron bookends features the iconic "Pharaoh's Horses" scene of three horses galloping side by side. This image is very popular in religious iconography and as a traditional tattoo reference. Both bookends have a heavy, rusty patina in the cast iron, especially in the nooks and crannies of the design. They have a great antique look to them and are free from cracks or breaks. The backs are marked with a word, some numbers, and a maker's hallmark. Due to the rust and wear in the cast iron, I can't quite make out these words and symbols, but will do my best to photograph them.
