Here is an antique safety razor stropper or sharpener manufactured by Twinplex Sales Company out of St. Louis, Missouri, USA. It comes in a nice case lined with purple material and bearing the Twinplex name. A piece of metal slides out, allowing one to insert a safety razor blade, and a cranking handle slides out from the other side, spinning the blade against leather inserts, sharpening it. The removable metal cover on the item itself lists the most recent patent date as March 23, 1920. It is marked with Serial # 1024627.
