Here is a beautiful antique cast iron "UF" fire marker, indicating the United Firemen’s Insurance Company, out of Philadelphia. This marker was manufactured by Wilton, which is marked in the cast iron on the back side beneath some rust. The marker features original red, gold, and black paint. Please note that I am unsure if this is an original period insurance mark, but if it is a reproduction, it is indeed an antique one.
