Here is a beautiful antique porcelain sign that proudly proclaims "We Sell Horse Shoe Tobacco." This double sided enamel sign originally had a flange that allowed it to be mounted jutting out from a wall, but it appears that during its lifetime of use, the flange was removed and holes were drilled so it could be mounted flat against a wall or other surface. This was likely done by the original owner, as the modifications look period. The sign has a large line of rust running down the middle on both sides, as well as spots of rust and wear typical of antique porcelain signs.
