Here is a very cool antique wall hanging wooden shield adorned with a painted tin seal of the United States. The iconic US seal features an eagle clutching olive branches and arrows with a banner in his beak reading "E Plurbus Unum" - "From many, one." The shield is in great antique condition with nice patina in the tin eagle and some wear in the black paint. The blue and red paint on the tin is also nicely worn, showing this item's age. There is a circular hole on the back for easy hanging on the wall. There is a partial paper label on the back of the shield that also bears the US seal.
