Here is a charming antique parade mask that I believe to be from the Odd Fellows fraternal organization, likely a representation of Goliath from the Biblical story of David and Goliath. The mask is made of papier mache and and a coarse hair like material attached with interwoven string. A red fabric ribbon hangs from the ears of the mask, likely to represent the beheading of Goliath. The mask is in fair condition with varying degrees of damage throughout, but is very stable and wearable. It also makes an excellent display piece.
